Fees for Immigration & Nationality Applications
Our fee information is in accordance with new regulations issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
We operate on a fixed fee basis and our fees vary depending on the complexity of the case. We will provide you with a fixed fee quote after an initial consultation, our fees are fair and transparent so there are no hidden or unexpected surprises.

Our fees include:

In person or telephone consultations, as required

Discussing your circumstances in detail and advising the most appropriate options for you

Advising you of the requirements for the relevant application

Reviewing relevant documents

Where necessary assist you to obtain further evidence (eg. medical records, witness statements)

Completing the relevant application form and drafting legal representations

Providing you with advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you may need to take

Liaising, where necessary, with third parties including the Home Office and the courts
All fees stated below are for standard cases, the final fee will be agreed with you based on the complexity of the case. The fees do not include VAT. If VAT is payable, we will clearly set this out from the outset.
Our fee does not include:
Home Office or its third party providers’ fees
Court fees
Independent expert reports, where required
Barristers fees, where required
Interpreting or translation fees
Courier fees
Posting & Photocopying of appeal bundles

We recommend our clients begin with an initial consultation. During the consultation, we will discuss your case, advise you on the best way forward and how we are able to assist you. We will provide a fixed fee quote at the consultation.
Fees for Probate
We do not charge a consultation fee for our probate service, we will arrange a no obligation free initial consultation with you so that we can discuss your requirements. If you decide to instruct us, we will offer you a fixed fee probate service. We believe that probate fees should be fair and simple so before we proceed, we will discuss and agree a fee with you assuring you of transparency and clarity.
Our fees are quoted to you as estimates on the basis of the information you supply to us and also not having had any sight of any legal documents or detailed understanding of your individual circumstances. Once we have this information and your requirements, we can provide a more accurate quote.
As a guide, the costs for obtaining probate and collecting and distributing assets in a straightforward estate may be between £3000-£5000. The exact cost will depend on the individual circumstances of the matter for example, if there is one beneficiary and no property, costs will be at the lower end of the range. If there are three beneficiaries, three bank accounts and a property, costs may be at the higher end.
The above estimate of costs applies where:

There is a valid will

The executors are willing to act

There are no difficulties in establishing the assets and liabilities

There is only one residential property. The cost of dealing with the sale or transfer of property is not included

There are no more than three bank or building society accounts
-
The assets do not include shareholdings (stocks and bonds)

There are no business assets
-
There are no more than five pecuniary legacies
-
All assets are in the UK
-
There are up to three residuary beneficiaries who can be easily contacted
-
We are not instructed to deal with the clearance or distribution of chattels
-
There are no life policies, pensions or death in service payments
-
There are no disputes between beneficiaries on the division of assets
-
There is no inheritance tax payable and the executors do not need to submit an IHT400 to HMRC

There are no claims made against the estate
In addition, the following disbursements will apply which are not included in the above fee:

Probate application fee of £155 plus £1.50 for each additional copy of the Grant of Probate

£7 for swearing of the Oath per executor

Bankruptcy-only Land Charges Department searches £2 per beneficiary

Statutory advertisements in London Gazette and a local paper

As part of our fixed fee we will:

Provide you with a dedicated solicitor to handle your matter, the solicitor with responsibility of your case will be Rima Tanna who qualified as a solicitor in 2001

An initial meeting with you to advise on terms and the contents of the deceased’s Will/intestacy provisions

Identify the legally appointed Executors or Administrators

Accurately identify the type of probate application you require

Complete the probate application and the relevant HMRC forms

Draft a legal oath for you to swear

Make the application to the Probate Registry on your behalf

Obtain the probate
-
Collect and distribute all assets in the estate
